This class is suitable for children aged 4 - 6 years. CHILDREN MUST BE IN FULL TIME SCHOOL SO HAVE TURNED 4 BEFORE 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 The class is independent of parents and guardians (other than the first trial class and any specified viewing sessions) so it’s important that children are able to follow instructions and comfortable to be in the class without their grown up. We understand that it can sometimes be daunting at first, so our friendly and experienced coaches are there to help settle any nerves. The class is tailored to this foundation stage, with an emphasis on variety and engagement. We will work towards and develop core Gymnastics skills and use different apparatus each week such as bars, vault, trampettes and airtracks, always in a fun, creative and imaginative way. With this young age group we will also dedicate time to developing important physical and social capabilities (also known as POWERS) such as strength, coordination, confidence and communication. Progress with skills and demonstration of our values will be rewarded with certificates, stickers and medals. We have a specific set of age appropriate objectives around: Understanding, Skills and Behaviours. Our aim is always to work towards these with our SMILE, MOVE, GROW values at the forefront. This means children have fun and are safe, they are active and engaged and they learn and progress
